TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. No refunds on any hired items that have left Hollywood Costumes.

  2. We have a NO CASH REFUND policy.

  3. Deposits can be paid via ; Cash - Refunded in Cash / Credit Card - Refunded on Credit Card.

  4. A full replacement cost will be charged for damaged goods.

  5. The customer will be liable for the full replacement value of any lost or damaged items.

  6. Hired costumes can be exchanged at any time.

  7. Both a hiring fee and refundable deposit are required upon hiring of each costume.  When the costumes have left the shop and you wish to return the items before the end of your rental period, you will NOT be able to receive a refund in/or the event of you not using the costumes.

  8. Each costume/prop has its own rental value.

  9. Standard rental refundable deposit for most items is R150.

  10. Costumes may be booked up to 2 weeks in advance upon day of collection. If a booking is cancelled, you will forfeit your R150 refundable deposit.

  11. The rental period is 7 days from day of collection.

  12. NO refund will take place on rentals that have already been collected.

  13. Costumes must be returned no later than the return date as stipulated on the invoice.

  14. Cash, EFT, credit and debit cards accepted.

  15. Returned costumes that are soiled or damaged (normal wear accepted) will incur an additional cleaning/repair charge. This can amount to the same value as the hiring fee in which case, the deposit will be forfeited. Or, this can amount to the replacement value.

  16. Each costume has a replacement value (not equivalent to the deposit), which will be incurred if the costume is damaged beyond repair, or not returned. In addition, the customer will be liable for all legal costs incurred for the recovery of the said amount, or costume.

  17. Costumes are not to be washed/altered by customers - these services are provided at an additional charge.

  18. v Please note when you complete your Hiring Agreement, we will need a copy of you ID or DRIVERS LICENSE.
